Julianne, Jacob and baby Harper were visiting Charleston from the Madison, WI area this March. They were exploring the area and wanted to escape the cold and celebrate their baby girl's birthday as well.
It was a super cold morning, like in the 50's. That didn't phase this mid-western family at all, I was the one bundled up!
I always love starting my sessions with silhouettes, it's a perfect way to showcase the sky and the size of the little ones.
And who doesn't love some baby snuggles?
Luckily I did still bring out blankets. I don't always bring them but I knew there would be a point when the tiny hands and toes would get cold and we would need a second to bring the family together to share some body heat.
And initially, I was going to bring the blankets anyway because we were going to be celebrating Harper's first birthday. Since it was a little cold though, Julianne brought something else. A surprise instead.
Now obviously, Harper can't read. But when she was finally let in on the surprise...
It didn't go over well.
Don't worry baby girl, you don't have to share all that love and attention until November.
<3 Congrats to this happy family!
